  2. Put the workpiece into hardened ink remover ACHM04-H2 and aluminum alloy special water-based paint stripper AHLR03-D2, and soak for 2 hours at room temperature. Take out and rinse with clean water.

  3. Both agents were found to be effective in removing black heat-cured hardening ink. Among them, the stripping speed of the hardened ink remover ACHM04-H2 is better than that of the special water-based paint stripper AHLR03-D2 for aluminum alloys.

  4. Test stripping UV ink does not harm black heat-set bake-hardening ink. The UV curable inks were found to be faster than the black heatset baking inks. As shown in the photo below, use the hardening ink removal gel ACHM04-HG to spot on the UV curing ink, after 10 minutes, wipe it with a cotton swab. As a result, the black heat-curing primer fell off as soon as it was wiped, and the traces of fonts still existed in the places covered by UV ink. The results show that the fastness of this UV ink is better than that of the black thermosetting primer. So it is difficult to remove only UV ink without harming the black primer.

    8.1 Hardened ink remover ACHM04-H2 and aluminum alloy special water-based paint stripper AHLR03-D2 are suitable agents for stripping the black heat-cured hardened ink.
    8.2 Soaking at room temperature is appropriate and can be performed without temperature-controlled equipment. It is recommended to prepare 2~3 stainless steel or HDPE barrels to make 2~3 chemical tanks. Put the workpiece into the medicine tank and soak for 1 hour each, about 2~3 hours in total. The last tank can be used with ultrasonic or high-pressure washing to vibrate and clean the ink attached to the rough cut surface.
    8.3 The fastness of UV ink is better than that of black thermosetting primer. So it is difficult to remove only UV ink without harming the black primer. It is recommended to use the hardening ink remover ACHM04-H2 to remove all the ink and then print again.
