Workpiece description: There are two kinds of anti-drop glue (polyester, epoxy resin) on the screw provided by the customer. Since the screw is small, it is hoped that the peeled anti-falling glue can be dissolved, so that the step of separating the falling-off anti-falling glue and the screw can be saved.
Before the anti-falling glue is peeled off, the appearance of the screw:
-
Heat soak peel test with different agents.
-
It was found that using the hardening ink remover ACHM04-L, after heating to 90°C and soaking for 10 minutes, the anti-falling glue made of polyester has been dissolved. The anti-falling glue of epoxy resin (EPOXY) has swelled and part of it has fallen off, but it is still not dissolved. After continuing to heat for 30 minutes, most of the anti-falling glue of epoxy resin (EPOXY) has fallen off, but it is still not dissolved (picture below).
-
Take it out, wash it with clean water, and find that all the screws can clean the residual anti-falling glue (picture below).
-
Using the hardening ink remover ACHM04-E, after heating to 90°C and soaking for 10 minutes, the anti-falling glue made of polyester has swelled, but it has not yet dissolved. After heating for 30 minutes, the anti-falling glue made of polyester has been dissolved. (The following figure)
-
in conclusion.
6.1 The anti-falling glue (polyester, epoxy resin) used in these 3 screws, the hardening ink remover ACHM04-L, the effect of dissolving the polyester anti-falling glue, and peeling off the epoxy resin anti-falling glue, obviously Superior to hardened ink remover ACHM04-E.
6.2 Although the epoxy resin EPOXY anti-falling glue cannot be completely dissolved, but because the specific gravity is obviously lower than that of the screw, the epoxy resin anti-falling glue will be suspended in the water and can be easily removed when rinsing with clean water.
