Recommended Cleaning Procedure

  1. Put the tape into the natural glue remover NGC02 for pre-soaking for 1~2 hours. (The parameters such as pre-soaking time and temperature should be adjusted by yourself. In principle, the glue on the tape has swollen and lost its viscosity, and the metal sheet is easy to peel off. Excessive soaking will make the glue on the tape too fragile or even dissolved, which will make the glue on the tape too fragile when spraying. A small amount of glue will fall off with the metal sheet, which will contaminate the recycled metal sheet and glue remover)

  2. Take up the tape with a reel, and wash off the metal sheet in a closed high-pressure spray tank. The spray liquid in the tank is still natural glue remover NGC02. Refer to the picture below.

  3. The metal can be recovered after being filtered dry. The natural glue remover liquid is recycled and used repeatedly. Adhesive tape (no longer metal) is burned and discarded.

  1. Adhesive residue can be seen from the reflection before cleaning.

  2. Soak in natural glue remover NGC02 for 10 minutes.

  3. It was found that the residual glue had swelled and softened. It can be easily wiped off with tweezers or kitchen paper towels.

  4. After the residual glue was wiped off, it was found that there was a piece of plastic (unknown material) under the residual glue.

  5. Soak again for 10 minutes with natural glue remover NGC02. I found that it can be torn off with tweezers, and there is still a layer of residual glue underneath. This plastic sheet is a piece of double-sided tape.

  6. Soak again for 10 minutes with natural glue remover NGC02. The double-sided tape on the bottom can be removed.

  7. Test another adhesive remover. Soak in synthetic glue remover SynGC18 for 30 minutes.

  8. It was found that the double-sided tape can be torn off with tweezers. Soak in synthetic adhesive remover SynGC18 for 10 minutes to remove the double-sided adhesive at the bottom.
